The 2 day tour was one of the best experiences of our whole South East Asia trip! Booking with Smiley was also the best decision, the lake house bungalows were so comfortable, we had Signature Lakehouse with a fan and we all had a very comfortable stay with great food and slept well. The team at Smiley were great, so friendly and helpful - the tour guide Kitkat was very funny and made the excursions very fun. They also helped me out a lot when I left an item at my Khao Sok hostel and brought it to the pier for me. We also got transfer with them straight to Krabi in a minivan which was great and well organised. I’m so grateful to them and you should definitely book this tour through them!! Service: 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely come back with my family to show them and experience it all again! We stayed the night prior in the Smiley Bunaglows in Khao Sok which were basic but clean and okay for the night. The checking in process was simple and clear. Staff at the office in Khao Sok were all friendly and helpful. The experience itself on the Smiley Lakehouse is INCREDIBLE. I cannot rate it enough, we enjoyed it so much. The views, the atmosphere , everything is just beautiful. All the guides especially Kit Kat are so lovely and have such a good sense of humour too. The lakehouse is very basic, we stayed in the new AC rooms which are very cool once the aircon starts working. Regarding the basic rooms, what else do you expect in the middle of a national park on a lake! We loved being able to swim from our bungalow into the lake as well as use the kayaks. The excursion to the cave was interesting but we enjoyed the morning safari more! The whole process was logistically so put together and thorough. We were very impressed, from transfers, to the boats etc Only few critiques I would say is that the female members of staff on the lake house were quite rude / abrupt at times. I’m unsure if this is a language barrier issue but we’ve never had that issue before with language barriers, I think you can still be polite in your manner. And the towels they provide don’t dry you very well. So I would personally suggest bringing your own, like I did! But if you are thinking about booking. Book! You won’t regret it Service: 4

We had a nice 1n/2d tour with smiley during our stay in Koh Sok. Pick up was punctual from our hostel on the first day and we were transported to smiley headquarters where we checked in, paid our remaining bill and had some complimentary coffee. The staff arranged our transfer to Phuket after this and gathered all people who wanted to go here and provided the necessary information which we liked. The journey to the bungalows is fine, short bus ride with a 7 Eleven stop and then a 1 hour boat. Just follow the itinerary provided on website, we found this to be pretty accurate. We had a standard bungalow. We were lucky it was raining when we went or else it would have been much hotter inside the room. The bungalows are basic but has what you need for one night stay. The food was just okay. There does be lots of flies etc on the food and this prevented us from eating different things. There is plenty to eat though and you’ll not go hungry that’s for sure. You have the choice to go on the cave walk, morning boat tour and also the jungle walk. The cave walk was good, we seen monkeys, big spiders and lots of bats. The morning safari was underwhelming however not the company’s fault for the lack of wildlife we seen. The jungle walk we were told was 1km up and 1km down. It ended up being 2km one way which was a bit annoying, I don’t mind the hiking, but again this was quite underwhelming and not much happening. Overall I would recommend however the accommodation, views from same and experience was quite underwhelming. Service: 3
