I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The staff were not welcoming and repeatedly rushed us to finish our meal and leave, which made the dining experience uncomfortable and stressful. The dining time felt unnecessarily restricted, and communication was difficult as the staff only spoke Cantonese and were unable to communicate in English. As for the food, it was average and did not stand out in any particular way. Unfortunately, the service left a much stronger impression than the meal itself. I am surprised by the low reviews. I find what's on the menu quite impressive so I decided to try it out. Apparently the food tastes very authentic and presents in fine dining level of the regional provinces of China the restaurant represents. They come in small portions but the price is also low to match the quantity. I don't expect to eat just 2 to 3 large portions of good food to fill my stomach. This is the right place for varieties of light delicious portions. It is the food quality and fine dining great service atmosphere that I value. The restaurant is very nicely decorated in the tradition of its food origin and there is erhu music. I did not see loud eaters there but their patrons appeared to be mostly fine people, so are the servers. If large tasty portions is preferred and want filling up quickly, this is the place for disappointment. If the preference is on more varieties and smaller fine portions in an enjoyable dining atmosphere, this is the right place. The price is affordable. Really surprised by the overall low rating. Suzhou-style noodles are difficult to find in the city and the serving of this restaurant is fairly authentic. The atmosphere is elegant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
