I really love this place. One of my favorite nightclubs in Koh Samui! The vibe here is always relaxed and friendly. The “bouncers” are actually incredibly nice — and honestly, it’s hard to even call them bouncers because there are almost never any problems. They mainly check bags or handle the entrance when there is one. Every time I come, they greet me with big smiles like we’ve known each other forever… even when I show up in a tank top, shorts and flip-flops I already loved this place back in August 2023. At that time the music wasn’t always amazing, but the atmosphere was already great and the staff were fantastic — always friendly and attentive. But now… March 2026… Sound Club Samui has completely transformed the place. The renovation is honestly impressive. The first room (which used to be the only room before) is now dedicated to Thai music. And the old space at the back — which used to be more like a chill area with a few plants and chairs — has been turned into a huge “jungle cave” style warehouse dedicated to electronic music. The sound system is really good and the energy on the dance floor is amazing. The decoration is great, there are bars everywhere (so you almost never have to wait for drinks), a mezzanine with a second pool table and another bar, plus a small air-conditioned lounge with dim lights and comfortable seats… and a few other surprises to discover. The club usually stays open until around 5 AM, which is perfect if you like long nights out. Entrance is often free, and only occasionally (about one Friday out of two) when there is a well-known guest DJ, the entrance fee is around 300 THB for men, which is still very reasonable. Drink prices are also fair. If you are looking for a great nightclub in Koh Samui with good electronic music, a friendly staff and a unique atmosphere, I definitely recommend this place.
