I found solidbean coffee roasters online before I head off to Taichung on a Saturday. I LOVE good coffee and good food. And the clean and simple interior is a feast for the eyes. I was impressed from the moment I set foor in the alley leading to the café! On arrival we were greeted very friendly. We took a seat and were offered the menus. What I like most is the limited options. Only 5/6 gourmet sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients. I had the chorizo sandwich with rocket, tomato, feta and balsamic. My friend had the thick toast with a pumpkin puree and mixed nuts. It was filling, delicious and beautifully presented. And to top it all off, the coffee is excellent. I will definitely be back!!!!
