Had an amazing experience here. Som is very kind and welcoming. We had garlic barracuda of amazing quality, delicious garlic shrimps and tasteful homemade spring rolls. Authentic gem in Koh Phaghan. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Som is just the best! We ate here 6 times during our stay and it was the best food we had in a month in Thailand. We are vegetarians and she made us beautiful food every night, and once she'd got to know our tastes she tweaked things to suit us perfectly. 10/10, would travel back to Thailand specifically to eat here. A true hidden gem just a short walk away from the main road. Som’s Seafood is a very authentic Thai restaurant with a relaxed, local atmosphere and incredibly friendly hospitality. Som herself is a wonderful host – warm, funny, and clearly passionate about what she does. She really takes care of her guests and makes sure everything runs smoothly, even when the place gets busy. The food was outstanding. We had incredibly fresh seafood, including a whole fish and shrimp dishes, all prepared perfectly and full of flavor. Everything tasted very authentic and homemade, and the quality easily stands out compared to many other places nearby. Prices are very fair and similar to other local restaurants, but the quality and the personal touch make this place special. It’s definitely worth taking the small detour from the main road for great Thai food and a lovely atmosphere. And a fluffy cat Highly recommended – we would happily come back again.
