安い北タイ料理店さんです。YouTubeで紹介されていたので一人旅でサンクチュアリオブトゥルースの帰りに昼食に立ち寄りました。イサーン料理以外も色々有ります。私は定番のガイヤーンとソムタム、ビールを注文しました。店内の雰囲気も良く、スタッフの皆さんもよくして頂き、心地よかったです。美味しく気持ちの良いランチとなりました。スタッフの皆さんありがとうございました。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400

Tried Somtam Na Mueang in Pattaya and this place does not waste time. Proper local food, strong flavors, fair prices, and the kind of table that starts with “we’ll order a few dishes” and ends looking like a small festival. The som tam had real character. Fresh, sharp, spicy, and balanced the way it should be. Not toned down, not confused, not made for people who want Thai food without the Thai part. The grilled dishes were also very good, the rice disappeared fast, and everything came out with the feeling that the kitchen knows exactly what it is doing. The place is simple and casual, which helps. No fake trendy atmosphere, no decorative nonsense trying to distract from average food. People are there for one reason, and that reason is eating seriously. Service was quick, the place had good local energy, and that is usually the sign you picked well. When a restaurant is full of people focused on their plates instead of their phones, that tells you enough. I told myself i would keep it light and order sensibly. That plan lasted about three minutes. Somewhere between the som tam and the grilled dishes, self control quietly left the table and never came back. Very good choice in Pattaya if you want authentic Thai food that still feels like it has a pulse. Just do not underestimate the chili unless you want to spend the rest of the meal pretending you are fine.
