Noodles are normal but the ingredients are exceptional. The fish balls, wan ton and meat chunks were huge and hand made so you're assured of good quality stuff. The soup is weak though, it's empty and devoid of any ingredients, not even a sprinkling of spring onions. Ordered the $7.50 noodle dry. The price is slightly higher than normal, but the portion and quality are both decent. The soup tastes very flat though, like boiled water with minimal flavor. Meal type: Lunch

Song Kee Fishball Noodles along Serangoon Road (Yio Chu Kang Rd) is a true gem for noodle lovers. Always drove past here but did not have the chance to try. The star here is undoubtedly their fishballs – incredibly fresh, springy, and bursting with flavor in every bite. Very huge as well and you can tell they are handmade with care, as they have that perfect balance of bite and tenderness that sets them apart from the usual. The noodles are cooked just right, with a satisfying texture that pairs beautifully with the savory, well-balanced sauce. The addition of fish dumplings and other ingredients only elevates the entire bowl, making it hearty and satisfying. Service is warm and efficient, and despite the crowd, food is served fairly quickly. It’s no surprise that loyal customers keep coming back, as the taste here is truly nostalgic and comforting. For anyone craving authentic, top-quality fishball noodles, Song Kee is easily one of the best places in Singapore. Parking available just beside the area but very limited.
