This wonderful spot is right at the edge of the water, and deservedly called “Songkhla Pier”. If you happen to be reading this review and are within the area, this is worth coming in the evening when the sun’s heat has subsided. This spot is located at the corner and easiest to get here via the ferry—but you would need transport because it’s located within deeper within a residential area. But once you arrive, you are rewarded with pier-side views and seating. Call ahead or message if you are coming with a group—and you can discuss meal options such as reserving extra oysters and seafood. This place is perfect for groups, couples and even families. They even have kayaks for rent, and you can kayak directly in the waters right in front of this spot. The food is home-cooked, prepared by the owner who lives right next to the property. I ordered the seafood fried rice today when I arrived almost at sunset and ate it while overlooking the water. Highly recommended for the views, the campsite vibe. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: This place looks perfect if you need to customize or cater for some event, since it has an individual owner that you can discuss with and make specific requests. And the space is distinct enough for kayaking or art activities while also serving food and drinks. Kid-friendliness: Yup, space to walk around, BUT also space to fall into the water and from heights if they aren’t supervised. Wheelchair accessibility: Surface is flat enough but consists of gravel so it depends on your wheelchair.
