We stayed for 10 nights at Sonya’s and had a great experience. The room was comfortable, with good air conditioning, a fan, and a fridge. It was fairly clean and even included a traditional Thai bath. The bed was cozy, which made for restful nights. The location is truly perfect. Within just 50 meters, you’ll find plenty of conveniences — bars, restaurants, a 7-Eleven, Big C, laundries, a lovely beach, and even a Muay Thai gym. Although it’s located in the main area, Sonya’s sits a bit farther south than most hotels, offering easier access to the southern beaches. Cars and motorbikes can also be arranged upon request. The food deserves a special mention. The breakfast menu is extensive, with some great-value options, and both the meals and smoothies were delicious. Finally, the hostess, Kim, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She was always helpful — arranging taxis, renting cars, and providing extra towels whenever needed. Highly recommended! I’ve been here several times, and every visit was amazing. If you’re around Klong Khong Beach, you simply have to stop here. It’s easily one of the best and tastiest restaurants in the area — a true must-try. My daughter said Yumm-yumm several times! Service: 5
