I came to SoSoulful Café specifically for brunch, but I didn’t realize they’re under new management and no longer serve a brunch menu. They now specialize in Japanese cuisine, so just a heads up if you’re coming in with breakfast expectations like I did (I was definitely in the mood for eggs Benedict ). That said, the food I tried was good. The cheesecake itself wasn’t very sweet, but the strawberry sauce balanced it out nicely. The coconut coffee was just okay—not bad, but not something I’d go out of my way for again. The highlight for me was the atmosphere. It was incredibly peaceful, the kind of place where you can sit, breathe, and just be. There’s a phrase there, “I will give you rest,” and honestly, you can feel that. I was able to sit and get some writing done without distraction, which I really appreciated. The owners were also kind and welcoming, which added to the experience. Overall, while it wasn’t what I expected menu-wise, it turned out to be a calm and pleasant place to spend time. I am definitely going back! Excellent place for coffee and food . Their tiramisu and shio ban were standouts ! didn’t try the food but looks good . place is huge with 2 levels , well spaced so great for a quiet afternoon ; or a drop in break on the highway Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
