Sottoscala Restaurant – Patong, Nanai 2 Road Sottoscala Restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Patong, located on Nanai 2 Road, and it’s one of those places that instantly makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and welcoming, perfect whether you’re coming for a quiet dinner, a romantic meal, or just good food with friends. What makes Sottoscala special is the combination of Italian and Thai cuisine, and both are done exceptionally well. You can really taste the care and passion in every dish. The Italian food is authentic, rich in flavor, and perfectly cooked — from pasta to sauces, everything feels homemade and full of love. At the same time, the Thai dishes are just as impressive, full of bold flavors, freshness, and that real Thai taste that locals appreciate. The food quality is outstanding. Every dish we tried was amazing and delicious, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. It’s rare to find a restaurant that does both Italian and Thai food so well, but Sottoscala absolutely succeeds. The service is another highlight. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always smiling. They take the time to explain the menu and make sure you’re enjoying your meal, which makes the whole experience even better. You never feel rushed, just relaxed and taken care of. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive, especially in Patong. Whether you live in Phuket or are just visiting, Sottoscala is definitely a place worth coming back to again and again. If you’re looking for excellent Italian and Thai food, a cozy atmosphere, and genuinely great service in Patong, I highly recommend Sottoscala Restaurant.
