I actually arrived to Southern Blue while searching for a Thai local restaurant located next door. It was late in the evening and I had just finished cycling 100kms and was tired and hungry. I met one of the owners (Pai) and explained my situation. She told me that the other restaurant was now closed but that I could eat at her restaurant which was more upscale. As I am on a budget, I politely declined her offer but knowing that there were no other open restaurants in the area, Pai knew that I wouldn’t eat that night. She then disappeared for a moment to speak to her husband (the chief) and they then returned and invited me to join them for dinner. I was quite moved by their generosity but politely declined as I didn’t want my problem to be their problem. However, sensing the sincerity and warmth in their invitation, my awkward feelings dissipated and I humbly accepted. We sat together over a wonderfully fresh and tasty dinner sharing stories from our lives and this touched my heart. In a world that is often dominated by profit driven corporate agenda, here is a young and talented couple who chose to open their hearts and kitchen to me when they didn’t have to. I’m continually blown away by the genuine kindness and generosity of the Thai people and it actually brings tears to my eyes thinking back to all the wonderful moments I’ve experienced in this beautiful country while on this current journey. If you are in the area, drop by this elegant and tasteful designed place within meters of the sea, the food is excellent and the owners are really wonderful people! I have never left a review before, but in this case I’m happy to make an exception. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The chillest place around hearing waves wind and calming songs, with beer and booze from wide range of selection, in rainy season u better be wearing a trousers tho, there r some mosquitos but on the bar top was fine there were enough light to keep them away, and the place was beautifully designed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿600–800 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot
