Came just to try their iddly and wasn’t disappointed. Service was fast, iddly was freshly steamed and the accompanying chutneys and dips were very delicious. The dosai wasn’t crunchy but it still tasted very yummy. You can either sit inside with aircon or outside along the five foot way; there are awnings to keep out the rain (nice when the weather is cool and breezy). Grab a seat (it’s quite crowded for breakfast, indeed there’re always customers whenever I walked past at different times of the day) and place your order. You can browse what’s you want to eat from physical menu or goto counter to point. There is a very wide variety to choose from. I watched neighbouring tables polish away lots of pratas so that must be good too. Tried the vegetable samosa and curry potato puff. Go for the samosa (mouthfeel of different veggies is more satisfying than just potatoes). Pay at the counter before you leave. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We have had Spices & Curries’ catered food on two occasions and found them to deliver what they claim. Their meats and fish were fresh and cooked to perfection. Chapatis and sweet poli were of authentic homemade taste. Food: 5 Service: 5
