I recently visited SQUARE at Surat Thani and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable café experiences I’ve had in this city. I ordered an almond croissant, a light-roast Ethiopian coffee, and a medium-roast latte — and every item felt thoughtfully prepared. The croissant was buttery and flaky with a nice crisp exterior, while the sliced almonds added a perfect nutty aroma and texture. It didn’t taste overly sweet, which made it pair beautifully with the coffee. The light-roast Ethiopian coffee was very fragrant and bright, with a clean acidity and refreshing finish. You can really taste the character of the beans — slightly fruity and lively, perfect for people who enjoy specialty coffee. The medium-roast latte, on the other hand, was smooth, balanced, and comforting. The milk texture was soft and creamy, and the coffee flavor still came through nicely without being bitter. The atmosphere of the café is also a big highlight. The shop has a warm wooden interior and a relaxed vibe, making it a great place for working, chatting, or just slowing down for a while. I visited on a Sunday, so it was quite busy — which really shows how popular the place is. Even with many customers, the environment still felt pleasant and not chaotic. I also want to compliment the staff — they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling even though the shop was very busy with many orders coming in. Their service was attentive and professional, and they handled everything smoothly. Thank you for the wonderful service. Overall, the coffee quality, bakery, and ambiance all work together perfectly. This is definitely a café I would come back to whenever I’m in Surat Thani. Highly recommended for coffee lovers — especially if you enjoy specialty beans and a cozy atmosphere.
