この近所にある飲茶に行きたかったけど、お休みだったのでこちらのお店を見つけて朝食をいただきました。総じておいしかったし、店の人も親切だったけれども、多分外国人用のメニューがあって価格もちょっとお高めでした。お粥と飲茶2品、2人で3500円くらいです。. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Breakfast

Had yumcha for brunch here today. The Star Seafood Restaurant cones across as the typical big Cantonese restaurant that has been serving locals for ages and ages. As is typical of so many similar restaurants, there are various specials for different times of the day. Those are usually advertised on slips of paper on the table where you then just check the boxes of the items you want. The morning (7am-11am) specialty at Star Seafood is a two dishes for HKD29.80 deal. There are a dozen options, pick any two from that list for HKD29.80. There is just one catch, the slip is in Chinese only. Fear not though , the restaurant does have an all day dining menu in English, but at the regular (higher) price. There were three of us . We shared 7 dishes. The food was OK: some hits, but mostly misses. One of the hits was a sweet walnut flavored steamed bun with a walnut paste and lava egg filling inside. All up, it was a cheap meal for the three of us at HKD186. Price per person: HK$50–100 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Yes, just pick vegetable dishes.
