I wanted to compliment the service from the staff in this starbucks outlet. The barista told me that they ran out of soy pudding and hence couldn’t fulfil my online order for the grande matcha soy pudding frap. I was pleasantly surprised when he offered to make a venti oatmilk matcha frap for me instead! Although the limited ingredients is not their fault, im touched at the staff’s efforts to make my experience better. Thank you! Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Disappointing experience at the Guoco Tower outlet. I had purchased a drink from Starbucks and was sitting at the outdoor seating area with my lunch. It was raining heavily, there were many empty tables and chairs available, and we couldn't find any public seating nearby. A staff member approached us and told us we had to leave if we were going to eat outside food. While I understand Starbucks may have policies regarding outside food, I felt the situation could have been handled with more understanding and courtesy, especially since I was a paying customer and the seating area was largely empty. What upset me most was the way it was communicated. While we were still eating, the staff member returned and said, "Leave or I'll have to chase you out now." The tone felt unnecessarily harsh and embarrassing. Customer service is not just about enforcing rules but also about how those rules are communicated. A little kindness and discretion would have gone a long way.
