Updating my review after a recent visit today May19: Visited Starbucks Waterway Point today for the Venti second drink at $1 promotion and was quite disappointed by the service experience. I had purchased the Starbucks reusable 2-cup carrier bag ($9.90) previously and brought it along specifically to carry my two Venti drinks. I expected the staff to help place the drinks into the carrier, as other Starbucks outlets have done before. Instead, the drinks were simply placed on the counter despite me already passing them the bag. When I asked about using a carton holder so the drinks would be more secure, the staff just passed the carton holder to me and seemed to expect me to pack everything myself. I paused for a moment, confused, and was met with a dismissive response. I understand outlets can be busy, but the experience felt unhelpful and inconsistent with the service I’ve received at other Starbucks branches. Since this is an item sold by Starbucks for carrying drinks, I would have appreciated some basic assistance. April 25th visit : Visited Starbucks Waterway Point to clarify the tumbler complimentary drinks promotion after purchasing a $49.90 tumbler/water bottle from Oasis Terraces and not receiving any voucher. Staff initially mentioned that tumblers should come with the complimentary drinks promotion. However, after I showed them my purchase details from Oasis Terraces, the staff also seemed unsure and scanned the item before mentioning that maybe it was classified internally as a “water bottle” instead of a “tumbler”. Despite the confusion and inconsistent explanations between outlets, there was no proper assistance or service recovery provided. During the same visit, I also purchased two venti drinks and was still asked to pay extra for a carrier bag, which made the experience feel less customer-friendly overall. The outlet itself also felt quite cramped, crowded and not very clean during my visit. Overall, the staff did not seem very knowledgeable or helpful regarding the promotion issue.
