Visited Styxx for a late Valentine’s Day dinner and the quirky, playful atmosphere was definitely not the typical romantic vibe – but we actually loved it. It’s a Middle Eastern restaurant with a very interactive concept, where they “paint” your table with bright sauces before the food arrives. The mustard sauce was especially good– tangy and very addictive. We started with the Layered Kebab , which was very flavourful and well-seasoned (leaning slightly salty, but enjoyable). Portion was smaller than expected for the price, though the taste made up for it. The Turkish Shishlik Chicken Thigh was well-cooked and tasty, but more familiar compared to the other dishes. The Dolma (stuffed onion with beef and rice) was the most subtle dish of the night. It had a gentle, comforting flavour but didn’t stand out as much after the bold kebab :( The highlight was definitely the Blue Crab Shawarma . It was generously filled with sweet crab meat, fresh crunchy vegetables, a slight spicy kick, and soft saluf bread – EASILY our favourite dish. Overall, a memorable dining experience with creative presentation and very warm service. Prices are on the higher side, so it may not be an everyday spot, but it’s worth visiting at least once for something different. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dope food, authentic service, fun experience! Stand-outs were the hummus, bread, layered kebab, chicken, the cake and their in-house tomato sauce. Although their wagyu skewers were slightly more charred than preferred, the rest of the kebabs had a nice strong, flavorful bite to them. Shoutout to Moses and his team for a very personal, warm and sincere level of hospitality. We truly appreciated the level of attention and finesse they had with the full service.
