Rooms were nothing fancy but clean with comfortable bed, air con and large fridge and telly. Very pretty setting with remarkable driftwood type furniture. The huge market was literally at the front entrance with hundreds of food and clothing stalls that stretched maybe a kilometre. Many bars within walking distance too Service: 3

We had a family stay at Suantung Coffee & Guesthouse from 10–11 September 2025. Although the property has a limited number of staff, the cleanliness, peaceful surroundings, and the friendly, welcoming behaviour of the team were truly commendable. They went the extra mile to arrange a rental car for us at a very competitive price, which made our trip much smoother. Breakfast was simple with limited options, but everything served was tasty and more than enough to satisfy our appetite. One thing to keep in mind: after 5:00 pm there is no staff available on-site to assist with additional needs, so it’s better to plan ahead. Overall, it’s a cosy and well-kept guesthouse with great hospitality — a good choice for a pleasant stay in Chiang Rai. Service: 4
