This is my favorite Subway location because the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The first time I went was on 11/23, right before closing, and I honestly expected the staff to be annoyed since they were about to finish their shift. Instead, the male staff member served my husband and me patiently, without any rushing or attitude. As an Asian foreigner who can speak conversational Chinese but can’t read it, I’ve unfortunately experienced poor service elsewhere—people sometimes assume I have a disability or think I’m pretending to be a foreigner. That was absolutely not the case here. The staff member showed no prejudice and was very patient while I pointed to items. I went back again this afternoon, and although they were quite busy, both the male and female staff were efficient, kind, and great problem-solvers. The male staff once again patiently look over the counter as I pointed at what I wanted, saying “I’d like this and that.” When I have a hard time processing what was said to me, he’d repeat himself with a nice tone. I also wanted to order eggs for my dog but didn’t have a container. Because store policy doesn’t allow the use of extra wrappers, they thoughtfully found a way to wrap the eggs together with my sandwich order, making sure the eggs didn’t touch any sauce or other ingredients.
