お婆ちゃんマスターの笑顔に癒やされます！夜の23時まで営業しているタイ料理のローカル店です。日曜日は休みです。ターミナル21は22時に終わるので、ラストオーダーの22時30分までならここです。BTSのASOK駅4番出口から降りて、大通りからすぐで、賑わっているので、すぐわかります。月曜日の夜21時に来ましたが、8割方席が埋まっていました。オープンスペースでエアコン無しなので、扇風機があたらないと暑いです。瓶ビールがよく冷えているのが良いです。一人で食べるならsmall、複数ならmediumかlargeで、店員が教えてくれます。メニューは写真付きで英語で書いてあるのでわかりやすいです。欧米人、中国人、日本人が大半です。トムヤムスープは超辛いので注意. Suda Restaurant is one of those classic local Thai restaurants that has stood the test of time. Tucked away in Sukhumvit Soi 14, just a short walk from Asok BTS and Terminal 21, it’s a great place if you’re looking for authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices. The menu is extensive, and the prices are surprisingly affordable considering the location, although I found some of the portions to be a little small. The atmosphere is simple and casual, and the service is fast and efficient, even when the restaurant is busy. The only downside is that the restaurant is not air-conditioned. Even in the evening, it can get quite hot while dining, so be prepared if you’re sensitive to the heat. Overall, if you’re after a no-frills restaurant serving authentic Thai comfort food without paying tourist prices, Suda Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. A solid choice for both locals and visitors alike.
