I visited Sugar King on a busy Friday night, so I understand that the staff may have been under pressure. However, that does not excuse such rude and aggressive behaviour toward customers. In particular, there was a short-haired female staff member whose attitude was extremely unpleasant. As I was walking up the stairs toward the waiting area ,before I had even reached the top , she shouted loudly at me from a distance, “Stay there!” I had not even had the chance to ask a question or understand the situation. I understand the venue was busy, but the way she spoke to me was unnecessarily hostile and disrespectful. The stairs and surrounding area are also a public access area, so being ordered to stop in that manner felt completely inappropriate. Because of this experience, I would not recommend Sugar King to friends or tourists. A busy night is not an excuse for treating customers as if they are causing trouble. Unless you do not mind being shouted at by staff, this place may easily ruin your Friday night. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

What a cutesy fun little bar tucked away on Peel. Features a fresh cocktail menu every week. The standing bar is right next to the preparation area where you can see your drink made in real time. Our bartenders Blake and Chim were absolutely joyous and we really enjoyed their banter and company. The flan was also a delight - great texture, sweetness, ideal for the summer heat. A strong recommend from me! Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
