I recently had a great meal at Sulagan. The food is exactly the kind of hearty, flavorful Korean comfort food you look for in Seoul. The absolute standout was the huge shredded potato pancake (which looks like a Gamjajeon). It’s served on a plate nearly the size of the table—incredibly thin, golden, and insanely crispy from edge to edge. It went perfectly with a drink! The rolled egg omelet was perfectly fluffy and tender, with a savory filling and a creamy dipping sauce in the center. We also loved the spicy stir-fry (looks like Jeyuk or squid). The sauce was rich, thick, and packed with flavor—it was perfect for mixing into the rice. The portions are very generous for the price, and the banchan (like the kimchi and seaweed soup) were on point.
