Tourist trap ! Charged 5000 baht in 10 minute for 2 beer with me and my girlfriend they putted number on a blank white paper I couldn’t even read. How is this place not shutdown

Avoid this place at all costs. Rio bar is a giant scam. Drink prices are insane. If you offer to buy 1 drink they will charge you for 2. 1 for the drink and 1 for the chaser. If you ask for change they will take money for “tip”. And once you are in there if you buy a drink for 1 girl at least 3 more will come and beg you to buy a drink for them too. And the mamasan are all apart of the whole thing as well and will do nothing to help you. If you go inside expect to be robbed.

RIO Bar = Dangerous! Attention! Watch out! How far does Thailand have to fall? How much more do you want to rip off your tourists? A very sad development in this street and especially in the RIO Bar. It's all about one thing, namely money. I paid for a beer and one lady drink (watch out a set!) almost 1.000 THB . Are you out of your mind? What's wrong with you? In a few years no one will come here anymore.
