The five-star reviews are clearly exaggerated, but the one-star ratings are equally extreme. The venue has an authentic, local feel. As for the food, it is a bit hit-or-miss: while the rice Pad Thai was mediocre, the Panang curry and papaya salad were both quite good. The preparation felt more homemade than usual, which is a definite plus, and the prices are exactly what you would expect for this type of establishment. In short, it is neither terrible nor superb, just somewhat inconsistent. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: There are plenty.
