We just stopped for gasoline and got enchanted by the owner's smile as big as her heart. We loved the food, the jungle juice, as well as the attitude and philosophy Supranee told us about. And of course her sense of humour. No wonder why people hang out there and start learning Thai. Next year (it's written down now) we're definitely going for the cooking class! Supranee’s cozy little restaurant must be my favourite spot on Koh Phayam. Her food is - as she puts it - cooked from the heart Just taste her delicious curries, pomelo salad, banana blossom cakes etc. etc. and the first thing you’ll notice is how much attention and love she puts in every dish. This is comfort food at its best! Apart from all this she’s a great host: witty, sweet and caring. If you’re lucky you’ll catch her working in the kitchen with her mum: such a lovely sight! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Many!
