Staff are polite, seat you fast, and keep things moving. The half Hainanese chicken is silky with a thin, glossy skin. Chicken rice is loose and aromatic, and the clear soup resets the palate. The beef rib rendang is the heavy hitter: thick, spice-forward gravy, rib cooked tender with a bit of gelatin on the edge. Satay skewers sit over a small flame; beef is juicy, chicken tender.
