I’ve been coming to Sushi Express for about a year now and it has become my go-to sushi spot. I probably eat here three times a week, sometimes alone while waiting for my dad to finish work and pick me up, and sometimes with my best friend. My usual order is the salmon sashimi and the salmon mentai hanamaki, and the quality is always consistent, fresh, delicious, and super affordable. For a casual sushi place, the freshness really impresses me every time. What really makes this outlet special though is the staff. Jiayue is especially amazing, always so friendly, attentive, and hands-on with customers. Steven and Sandi and annother lady are also fantastic, they often already have my hanamaki and usual orders prepared the moment I walk in, which makes me feel incredibly welcomed every time I visit. As someone who occasionally does food reviews and posts on social media, I’ve tried quite a lot of places, but this has genuinely become my favourite casual sushi spot. The service, consistency, and welcoming atmosphere keep me coming back again and again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good, affordable sushi with wonderful staff. Hong Ling was kind of a lone ranger managing the crowd today with excellent attitude and such warmth to everyone. She was patient with elderlies and friendly with the young, despite being overwhelmed with orders, seating new customers and checking out diners.
