This was one of the best meal experiences we’ve ever had in our lives. And this is coming from someone who is not a seafood person in general. The chef and staff were very warm and inviting. They are such genuine people and the whole experience was just very wholesome. This was our first omakase experience and we were quite nervous, but they put us at ease with the atmosphere and their warmth. The sushi was amazing, just simply amazing, trying to describe it would do it injustice. You can see the attention to detail and precision of the chef in action. You can tell it’s his art and his passion. The sake pairing recommendations were amazing as well. If anyone is hesitating to go here, don’t, just do it. It was worth every penny and every minute we spent there. Thank you to the chef and staff for such a wonderful experience! Price per person: ¥10,000+

Ovino was not only the best omakase we’ve tried in Japan, but the best sushi of our lives. Every piece was exceptional, showcasing incredible technique, balance, and flavor. We chose the sake pairing, and it was absolutely outstanding, an impressive selection that complemented each course perfectly and elevated the entire experience. This dinner was our late Valentine’s Day date, and it turned into a truly special memory. An extraordinary experience from start to finish. We totally recommend it ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Me and my best friend visited this restaurant tonight and I do not exaggerate when I say this was the best meal of my life. Imminently apon entrance we where greeting with a warm inviting atmosphere, they took our coats and throughout the whole night provided genuine conversation and it felt like both the owner and the waitress truly cared about what we had to say but also in informing us and educating us on the dishes, the history and culture of sushi as a whole and the individual fishes and ingredients. I felt so welcomed in the space and in the process of the dish preparation. Top tier service aside the food was so unbelievably delicious. Some of the flavors and textures were so fascinating and unique that my brain could hardly comprehend them. At one point in the meal I was so happy and overcome with delicious flavors I genuinely cried in the restaurant and the staff were so lovley in handling it when they realized it was happy tears haha. On top of this, it was also my birthday and when the waitress (who had been expertly translating our conversations with the chef) found out she offered us a free uni course which was once again decadently balanced and curated to perfection. Drinks and desert where perfectly crafted and paired to taste and to what became the perfect for an unforgettable meal. I truly could not recommend the chef and the restaurant more.
