お値段はそこそこお高めですが、それに見合った美味しさはあると思いました。行った日が悪かったからなのか食べたいネタがかなり切らしていたのが少し残念だなと思いました。. Food: 4 Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000

Stumbled across 鮨匠 (Sushi Sho) nearby Wat Hotel. No queue. We were greeted warmly by owner of the shop at the sushi bar although he was not fluent in English. He is a very experienced chef and has been operating the shop for 46 years. We had two sets of Omakase (~JPY3,000 each set, with 10 Pcs of nigiri sushi + 6Pcs of maki). Food quality was excellent with the generous portion and reasonable price given. We were also served a very delicious bonito soup. Chef told us that the business had been slower after Covid pandemic and the shop closes at 11pm since then (instead of 1am before the pandemic). The chef is quite old and not computer literated. We hope more people will find out this shop by spreading the word. It was really the best Omakase experience we had so far!
