Come here for a meal right after visiting Sungnyemun Gate. This restaurant provides tasty cold noodles, kimchi and gimbap. The patient staff welcomes visitors all year round. Good service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Suyuri Udon House. As clients see it, the atmosphere is exotic here. Google users awarded this place 4.6.

We had our first breakfast here and it was incredibly delicious! Portions were so big, I was so full. The servers there were very friendly, I had a really great time Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I went to this restaurant hoping for a quick bite. The restaurant was crowded and there were local people queuing for orders. We waited in the line. However, we felt at lost as no English can be found in the posted menu and everyone was speaking Korean. There was a girl behind the counter taking orders and preparing food at the same time. We were quite confused as we don’t know if we should get the order first or take a seat first when it came to our turn. As we were still wondering, the local people behind us went past us to take orders. Then I thought I should try to order first and point the food photo in the menu to the girl behind the counter taking orders, but she impatiently gave me a disgusting look and gestured me to step aside in Korean while preparing food. I then took a picture of the food I wanted in the menu and attempted to show her again but was again gestured to step aside even more impatiently. After a few minutes of waiting, she finally asked me what I wanted. I showed her the picture, she responded: “Only one menu?” I said yes, she shook her head, looking at my husband. I said “we share”, she shook her head again, and ignored me once more, and turned to the woman behind me to take her orders. My husband was so upset and called me to leave after waiting for 10 minutes in this crowded place. I learned afterwards that they don’t take 1 meal for two people in peak hours, but they can at least tell us and give us a minute to choose another meal. My whole experience is that this place is so unfriendly to people who don’t speak their language. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We ate here a couple of times on our recent annual trip to Korea. In a busy shopping area. Restaurant is always crowded so you have to wait for a table and be a little aggressive or someone will try to go around you. Every dish we had a delicious and not too expensive. We will definitely continue to go there when we are in Seoul. Back in Seoul in May 2026 for more shopping and eating. Naturally we went back to Suyuri Udon House for another delicious lunch. This time one udon bowl and vegetable gimbop which were delicious. Be prepared to wait and fight for a place to sit. It is definitely worth it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
