Interesting experience here. Our group sat at the teppanyaki counter but ordered from both the a la carte and set menus. The food from the a la carte menu was very good - sashimi, “tacos”, and nigiri were delicious and well prepared. The drinks menu was also comprehensive and we enjoyed a nice bottle of sake. The staff were very attentive and helpful, cannot fault their service at all. Unfortunately, the teppanyaki experience was lacking. The meat did not appear to be of a high quality given the price tag, and the pieces of Wagyu we received definitely could have been better. All of the non Wagyu meat was on the tougher side with nothing particularly special about it. The Wagyu itself was ok, but again, could have been better. Another side note is that the teppanyaki chef we had on the night seemed very nervous and it was a little awkward at times due to him making multiple mistakes in the “performance” (dropped utensils, dropped his hat etc). The performance isn’t a big deal for us and doesn’t add anything to our meal, but this one did feel awkward due to the constant mishaps. Worth visiting here for the a la carte menu, we probably wouldn’t recommend the teppanyaki based on our experience but hopefully yours will be different to ours! Nice place, food is freshly prepared for you and it has a nice cosy atmosphere. As well as normal Japanese food it offers some interesting different plays on traditional recipes. I sense an Italian or Mediterranean influence somewhere. Worth a visit, certainly not cheap but compared to overseas prices I think ok. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1,400–1,600 Parking options: Free of charge street parking Parking: Blueport next door for parking Wheelchair accessibility: I think not
