If you ever find yourself in Seoul and want to experience something truly irreplaceable, Suzie Q is the place. Hidden in a small basement near Sangsu Station, this LP bar isn’t just about music — it’s about soul, memory, and warmth. The sound here is, without exaggeration, one of the most incredible analog sound experiences in the world. The speakers, the turntables, the room itself — everything is tuned perfectly to let the vinyl breathe. The bar is filled wall to wall with tens of thousands of vinyl records. These aren’t just decorations — they’re a lifetime collection, carefully curated by the owner’s family with deep love and dedication. You can feel the history in every groove. Guests can write down song requests, and the owner — a kind and wise woman with beautiful taste in music — plays them live on LP. No Spotify. No algorithms. Just humans, records, and stories. She also welcomes everyone with a warm heart. Even if you’re alone, you’ll never feel lonely here. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why music matters. I’ve traveled a lot, and yet, Suzie Q remains my favorite place in Korea. If you’re lucky enough to visit, take your time, request your favorite song, and just listen.
