ate at swatow restaurant for dinner, and we ordered a half Roast Peking Duck first of all, they got our order wrong and served us another dish at first. second of all, this is the pathetic portion size of this dish for $56 you get like 6-7 slices of just the skin this is not 1/2 duck, this is like 1/8 duck??? other restaurants are way ahead in terms of food quality (just go to TungLok or something) lastly, service was mediocre, staff was unprofessional and lacked service etiquette with an unfriendly demeanour. overall, will not come back again and would not recommend. We had lunch at shantow dim sum restaurant at Bukit Batok Home Team and [Waitress May Ow ] made our day. She was so attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations. She checked in on us without being pushy and handled everything with a smile even when it was busy. Thank you [Waitress May Ow ] for the great hospitality! Will definitely be back. Consistent and Refined Dim Sum Experience Swatow City offers a refined dim sum dining experience that reflects consistency and tradition. The dim sum selection is well-executed, with dishes served fresh and presented neatly. Classic items such as har gow and siew mai were prepared with care, showcasing balanced flavours and good texture. The service was courteous and efficient, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere suitable for both family gatherings and business meals. Overall, Swatow City maintains a reliable standard for quality dim sum and is a respectable choice for those seeking a traditional Chinese dining experience.
