Ordered the ice kacang and it was really nice. The ice was very fine and smooth, giving it a great texture. The ingredients were fresh and the dessert was refreshing. Enjoyed it very much and would come back again

Regular buying dessert from them (brother and sister?) regularly, delicious and cheap. Can use CDC. Can ask for less sugar which is healthier

I recently visited Sweet Heart Dessert at Toa Payoh Food Centre and decided to try their cold Cheng Teng. It turned out to be a very refreshing choice, especially on a warm afternoon. The dessert came with a generous serving of shaved ice that quickly cooled me down, and the sweetness was well balanced without being overpowering. What stood out most was the mix of ingredients inside the bowl. It had soft longan, chewy white fungus, barley pearls, lotus seeds and small sago balls, all blending together with the light herbal syrup. Each spoonful offered a different texture and taste, making it both interesting and satisfying. The portion size was reasonable for the price, and I found it filling enough as a light treat after lunch. I also appreciated how fresh and clean the dessert tasted, showing that the stall takes care in preparing their ingredients daily. The stall itself is simple and traditional, with a wide menu of hot and cold desserts displayed clearly. I noticed many classic local favourites like tau suan, bo bo cha cha, ice kacang and even snacks such as sesame balls and popiah. Service was straightforward and efficient, with my order prepared quickly despite the busy lunch crowd. Overall, the cold Cheng Teng at Sweet Heart Dessert is a wonderful option if you are looking for something cooling and traditional. I would definitely return to try more items from their extensive menu.
