Laksa at $5.50. The portion is a little small for an adult. It comes with a prawn, pretty fresh, a egg, some tau pok and fishcakes, but no sign of cockles. The gravy is aromatic, though not thick. Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10

Had a really odd experience here. We had been walking for so long looking for a laksa in this district so when we saw the big sign "Laksa" here we thought we were in luck. The convversation went something like this: "2 laksas please". "eat in or takeaway". "um eat in (pointing at table)". "you want drinks". Then again while we discussed "take away"?. It was not really clear why they were reluctant to accept an order, the shop was open and it was maybe 4 or 5pm. In the end I just said don't worry about it and walked away. They were not rude and seemed friendly, just oddly reluctant to accept customers.
