I was really disappointed with the ice cream at Swensen’s in Thailand. The texture tasted unpleasant to me, with a very high amount of air whipped into it, making it feel light in a bad way rather than rich or creamy. It was also noticeably crystallized throughout, which gave it an icy, grainy texture. The flavor was overly sweet, and the dairy fat content seemed low, so it lacked the smooth, creamy mouthfeel I expect from good ice cream.
