T77 was a very pleasant surprise. It's located just outside Trat – and also a short distance from the main road – so you should definitely have your own transportation. The shop is nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere! The espresso I ordered was of very good quality – which may also be due to the fact that T77 offers an excellent selection of high-quality coffees. The selection of homemade cakes was also a pleasant surprise. The cakes we ordered (blueberry and grape cheesecake) were absolutely fresh and tasted excellent. Now, one might add – as some other reviewers here have – that the prices are perhaps a bit high compared to the quality of what's on offer (both coffee and cakes) – however, I can't agree with that. For my wife and me, the quality and taste of the coffee, the drinks and the cakes we ordered were crucial – and they certainly lived up to expectations. What did leave something to be desired, though, was the "customer friendliness" of the staff – I don't want to call it "unmotivated dutifulness" or "somewhat aloof rudeness," but genuinely welcoming friendliness is something else entirely. We sat outside and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. The fact that the parking lot for guests was also behind the building wasn't a problem, since we had come by car. It should also be noted that the toilets are located behind the building - they were spotlessly clean! Finally, it should be noted that many customers succumbed to the "temptation" of the numerous photo opportunities – but that's something you can't always avoid in Thailand. We kept it simple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at T77 and can highly recommend a visit to everyone – regardless of what experiences other visitors may then have there.
