This is a great little bar, cozy but not cramped. Very sapphic/wlw/lesbian friendly. The bartender is talkative and friendly, and the drinks are good. She didn’t speak much English but was really patient about google translate and gave me a lot of good tips for exploring the area. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

This bar is located near Rainbow Street in Shinjuku Ni-chome. While the owner has openly shared her personal background, she emphasizes that this is not a gay bar and encourages customers to visit without specific expectations about the atmosphere. During my visit, I found the experience somewhat mixed. When my friend ordered a non-alcoholic drink, the owner mentioned that previous customers who only ordered non-alcoholic drinks had posed some challenges for her business. While this comment may have been intended as a joke, it created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, the owner often shared jokes that, while possibly meant to lighten the mood, seemed to overlook the comfort levels of some customers. Overall, the bar appears to have a strong emphasis on the owner’s unique personality and style of hospitality. However, it may not suit everyone, especially those seeking a more inclusive or customer-oriented environment.
