"If you're looking for authentic Southern Thai tea on Ban Tad Thong Road, I highly recommend Tea Pearl. Having just returned from Krabi and Phang Nga where I tried many local spots, I can confirm that Tea Pearl uses tea leaves. The flavor is signature Southern style—bold and intense, yet perfectly balanced with a rich, creamy finish. I opted for 50% sweetness, which was still quite sweet but delicious. I suspect 0% might be a bit too astringent (tannic), so if you prefer less sugar, 25% would be a safe bet. The shop itself is an open-air stand in a shophouse, but the air-conditioned unit right next door belongs to the same owner. It’s very comfortable with plenty of seating; even during the day, the AC is refreshing cold. It’s a peaceful spot, perfect for taking a break from the heat. The adjacent room focuses on coffee, which I'll definitely be back to try next time." Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
