The situation with the laundry was absolutely ridiculous. We put our clothes in the washing machine, added detergent, and tried to insert the coins, but the machine would not work. I went to reception to report the issue. An employee came, placed an “Out of Service” sign on the machine, told us that a technician would need to look at it, and took down my room number. Several hours passed without anyone contacting me, so I went back to check what was happening. I found our clothes stuffed into a bag with no explanation. I was told that they had been washed, but when I checked them, they were clearly still dirty and covered in detergent, so they had obviously not gone through a proper wash cycle. To make matters worse, the same washing machine was already running again with someone else’s clothes inside. When I returned to reception, I was given conflicting explanations. First, I was told that the machine had been repaired, then that it had broken again. In the end, I was simply told to try again later. By that point, the whole experience had become extremely frustrating and unpleasant.

A Heartfelt Thank You to THE HO HOTEL I stayed at THE HO HOTEL in Hsinchu with my mother in June 2025. The hotel was already impressive with its warm hospitality, clean and spacious room, and easy access for wheelchair users. But what truly set them apart was the way they handled a small accident that could have become a big loss. After we checked out and continued our trip, I received an email from the hotel informing me that their housekeeping team had found a Buddha amulet necklace left in our room. It was a very personal and sentimental item that belonged to my mother. Their message came with a clear photo of the necklace, and they kindly asked whether it was ours and how we’d like them to proceed. I was genuinely touched—not only by their honesty and care, but also by the fact that they took the time to contact me so promptly and respectfully. This is more than just good service. It’s a reflection of integrity and genuine care for their guests. I truly appreciate the staff, especially housekeeping and the front desk team, for their outstanding professionalism and kindness. If you’re looking for a hotel in Hsinchu that goes beyond expectations, THE HO HOTEL is a place you can trust—not only for comfort, but for their heart. Highly recommended.
