If you are looking for authentic, award-winning Thai cuisine in the heart of the city, Tumkratoei Sagate at One Bangkok is a must-visit. The food quality here is exceptional; every dish we ordered was delicious and lived up to the Michelin reputation. Pad Thai (Must-Try): This was the highlight of the meal. The noodles were perfectly soft and chewy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Unique Salads: We tried several dishes, including a refreshing Avocado Salad (Som Tum style) and a classic bean salad with salted eggs. The balance of spice, acidity, and crunch was spot on. Thai Omelet: The crispy Thai-style omelet served with chili sauce was a great comfort dish. The Drinks: Limited Availability One area for improvement is their beverage menu. The selection is not very diverse to begin with, and on the day of our visit, almost all drink options were sold out, which was a bit disappointing given the spicy nature of the food. The restaurant has a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with clear pride in its Isan roots. Note on Service: Some staff are non-Thai speakers. Communication can be a bit challenging at times, so it requires a little extra patience when ordering or asking for specific items. However, they remain helpful and polite. Very bad service. I had to wait 40 minutes to be served without any communication or explanation or even apologies. In addition, I asked no spicy and the food after 40 minutes waiting was spicy! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
