We went to Table by Rang Mahal on the occasion of my husband’s birthday. The restaurant is located at the reception and is a small cozy place to relax! If you want to have peaceful family dinners, this is the perfect place; not crowded or noisy at all!
Moving to food, it was delicious. We came looking for indian food, and thats exactly what we got! Absolute Delhi flavours, right amount of spices and chilli. We ordered the following from their Ala carte menu:
1. Chilli cheese kulcha—-Must try; the chutney is a winner!
2. Chicken tikka masala
3. Malvani Fish curry
4. Laccha Parantha
5. Wine
6. Tulsi sherbet- very refreshing and digesting

The staff is extremely courteous and patient. They were very kind in acknowledging my husband’s birthday and giving us their special Salted Caramel Chikki Ice cream as a gesture of sending across the birthday wishes!

We’re spotting more craft beer popping up in cafés these days, but few do it with the commitment of On the Table. This industrially kitted-out Pasir Panjang café partners The Great Beer Experiment bottle shop to stock the latter’s whole range of beers in its dining room. The beers on the shelves aren’t chilled, so the bottles by Danish brewers Mikkeller and To Øl, Britain’s Thornbridge, and the US’s Prairie Artisan Ales – priced reasonably from $8-$36 – are available to go. If you can’t wait ’til you get home to steal a sip, order a Crabbies flavoured ginger beer ($6) or a Brewdog ($12.50- $13.50) to drink in the café.
