Fried oyster omelette ($6 for smaller plate). 8 fresh oysters in the dish by Hougang Fried Oyster. Well fried, not starchy at all. Wish chilli less diluted. Stall sells char kway teow as well

Char kway teow (fried flat rice noodles, $4.50 smaller plate). Discernible “wok hei” (smokiness). Very oily plate, but stall was also generous with vege, taugeh. Just right balance of sweet & savoury
