外気温が10℃の時に宿泊。暖房が無かったので、寒さ対策でダウンを着てベッドて寝ました。空調については改善して暖房機能をつけて欲しい。その他は良かったです。

I have very mixed feelings about my recent stay at the Taisugar Hotel Taipei. While there were highlights, the physical state of the property was disappointing. The Highlight: Exceptional Service I want to start with the positive: the service at the reception was impeccable. The staff member who assisted me went above and beyond to be helpful and professional. Her dedication was truly the saving grace of my stay. The Lowlight: Room Condition and Hygiene Unfortunately, the rooms are showing significant signs of age and neglect. By European standards, this is a 3-star experience at best. My room had several issues: Surface Damage: Visible scuff marks on the wallpaper and damaged curtains. Cleanliness Issues: There were numerous stains on the carpets (one can only wonder what previous guests have done) and noticeable mold spots on the ceiling. Air Quality: There was a persistent musty, almost moldy smell in the room.People with respiratory issues or allergies will likely struggle here. While staff might attribute this to the rainy weather, it is clearly a maintenance issue—the air conditioning filters and the entire HVAC system are in desperate need of a deep professional cleaning. Connectivity: There are very few power outlets, and European plugs do not fit securely, often falling out. Verdict If you value service and a central location, you might find it acceptable, but the "hardware" of the hotel is failing. Until the management invests in new carpets, wallpaper, and a complete AC overhaul, it is difficult to recommend this for a comfortable, high-end stay.
