オーストラリア産和牛それなりに美味しいが、昼食には高過ぎた。ステーキ２０００バーツ前後、行くなら夜ですね。和牛がいるものと思ったが現在この場所にはいないとの事でした。

ドイインタノンの近くに牧場があり但馬牛を飼育しているらしい。ランチの為に来たが、但馬牛はステーキメニューしかなく手軽に食べられる価格ではない。こんな田舎のさらに奥まったところに食べに来る客は稀だろう。日本のレストランのように但馬牛を使って2000〜3000円のランチメニューを作るとか工夫をしないと経営が成り立つほど客が来ると思えない。高品質だから高級だから客が来ると思うのは日本人がよくやる思い違いだ。数ヶ月後に来たら閉鎖してたなんて光景は見せて欲しくない。

This was our first visit to NGUADOI Wagyu Beef Tasting Room. It’s located quite a distance from the city, so the obvious question is: is it worth the drive? Getting there was very straightforward using Google Maps, and the venue is hard to miss once you arrive. There is ample parking available in a large car park, and the entrance makes a strong first impression with its impressive bull statue and steakhouse theme. 5/5 We initially entered through a side door by mistake, but it was easy enough to find our way to the main restaurant. Along the walk to the entrance, there are several small attractions for children, including a play area and enclosures for goats, chickens, and cattle, which add to the ranch-style atmosphere. The shaded walkway was also pleasantly cool. 5/5 The restaurant itself is spacious and attractively designed with ranch-style décor and furnishings. There are plenty of seating options, including larger tables and separate dining areas that would comfortably accommodate busier periods. 5/5 The staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to help throughout our visit. 5/5
While there are a few areas where additional hospitality training could further enhance the experience, their positive attitude and efficiency were appreciated. For example, Initially the menu offered only one red wine option, although another was available. My wine was also served chilled in an ice bucket without being asked for my preference. Small details such as these can make a difference to the overall dining experience. 3/5 The menu is intentionally simple and focused on the beef. However, some diners may appreciate a wider selection of side dishes and accompaniments. The steak options do not automatically include vegetables or potatoes, although chips were available as an extra. The wine list is also quite limited, with only two red wine choices available. 2/5 Sauce options were basic, consisting mainly of standard condiments. Traditional steak sauces such as pepper, mushroom, or red wine sauce were not available during our visit. Depending on your preferences, this may or may not be important. 2/5 One interesting aspect of the experience is selecting your steak directly. We were shown the available cuts and asked to choose our preferred steak and cooking level. While the process was straightforward, prices were not displayed alongside the cuts. This was spoiled by the meat being frozen. No fresh choices. 2/5 Once ordered, the food arrived very quickly and was attractively presented. 5/5 My son’s tenderloin was pre-cut for him, and both steaks were cooked exactly as requested. The quality of the meat was excellent, and both steaks were tender, flavourful, and enjoyable. 5/5 For over THB 1,000 per steak, I felt the quality was very good but did not represent excellent value, as they were frozen cuts and local meat. 3/5 1 x Local rib eye, 1 x local tenderloin. About THB 2600 Bottle of wine THB 800. 2 x chips about 200 THB THB 3,864 Overall Verdict The steaks were undoubtedly the highlight of the experience and were cooked perfectly. The venue itself is attractive, family-friendly, and offers a pleasant atmosphere. Would I make a special trip from the city solely to dine here? Probably not. However, if you’re in the area or passing through, it’s certainly worth a visit, particularly if you’re looking for a relaxed setting and a well-cooked steak. With a broader selection of wines, sides, and steak accompaniments, this restaurant could elevate an already enjoyable dining experience even further.
With a few simple changes i would give 5/5 and would consider the journy worthy. E.G. Your choice of either Mash potato, potato salad or chips And either fried onions, mushrooms, well-cooked sauté vegetables. Complimentary.
