Tried Tajimaya Yakiniku @ VivoCity and... wow. If you've ever wondered what a $90++ per pax lesson in attitude looks like, this is it. Food was fine nothing to shout about, but the service? Chef's kiss of disappointment. The lady serving our table kept slamming plates down like she was training for a table flipping championship, complete with a constant frown. Yes a full-time FROWN for the lady serving my table. Beautiful customer service vibes. The grill wasn't changed, and the charcoal was burning like we were having a campfire indoors all we were missing were marshmallows. And the repeated "Don't waste food or we'll charge you" reminders? Fantastic. Because apparently the notice on the table wasn't enough, so they made sure we heard it again... and again... even though we finished everything. We're big eaters, not food wasters.. shocking, I know. For $90++, this was the most "premium" bad experience I've ever paid for. Definitely not coming back to this outlet. Plenty of other places that know how to serve food and basic respect. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $90–100
