Great tasty dishes. Ordered the grilled fish and chicken. Had 2 plates of broccoli. Added the egg and tahu fried (forgot the actual name). The rice was tasty!! Teh tarik a little too sweet but still flavourful. Thank you for your attentiveness too and making an exception with the "lemak". The sambal for the fish was soooo sedap. Great service!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In my opinion, this restaurant has good, friendly service and good food. Everyone's tastes are different, but for me, who has an Indonesian tongue, the food is delicious. My son likes the oxtail soup, but maybe next time he can boil it longer so it's more tender. For me, friendly service is number 1. Taliwang Restaurant isn’t just about food—it adds a nice touch of inspiration too. When we dined there on April 22, we were seated at Table 2, which had a quote that said, “Believe! And the impossible becomes possible.” While waiting for our food, I spotted another quote on the next table: “Do it now! Sometimes 'later' becomes "never.” Together, they gave off a positive, go-getter vibe—like a gentle push to dream big and stop putting things off. For our meal, the two of us shared broccoli with mushrooms, Tiger prawns in sambal with petai, chicken wingettes, two plates of white rice, and warm water. Every dish came packed with flavor, but what really stood out was the broccoli—it had a mix of sauces that worked so well together. The chicken wingettes were also tasty, clearly well-marinated. The food was good, we polished off everything. The restaurant itself has a cozy, clean setup, making it a really comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The server was friendly and helpful, even taking the time to explain the sauces when we asked. With great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and some inspiring words on the table, Taliwang made our visit a pretty memorable one.
