This Thai Isaan restaurant offers excellent flavors at a reasonable price, making it a great value for what you get. The place itself is quite small, and parking can be a bit inconvenient, sometimes with additional parking fees depending on the area. However, one standout feature is that the restaurant is pet-friendly—dogs are allowed inside—and the air-conditioned space provides a cool and comfortable setting, especially ideal during hot weather. We ordered a variety of dishes to try, and almost everything turned out to be quite delicious. The highlight was definitely the dry stir-fried Jaew Hon, which was exceptionally well-balanced in flavor—rich, aromatic, and easy to eat without being overly spicy. It was clearly well-prepared and thoughtfully seasoned. For the grilled pork larb, the flavor might feel slightly mild if you don’t add a bit of lime juice. For those who enjoy a tangy kick, squeezing some extra lime really elevates the dish and makes it much more enjoyable. The pork waterfall salad (Nam Tok Moo) was also very good—flavorful, easy to eat, and surprisingly generous in portion. Although it may not look like much at first, it turns out to be quite filling, even more than expected for the price. As for the Luang Prabang-style papaya salad, it seemed promising but didn’t quite meet expectations. The taste wasn’t bad, but it was fairly average—something you could easily find elsewhere. It lacked the standout character compared to the other dishes. Overall, despite the limitations in space and parking, this is a restaurant worth trying, especially if you’re looking for authentic Isaan flavors in a relaxed, pet-friendly, air-conditioned environment. Northeastern Thai food + Vietnamese food ~ super authentic Tamlakor (Cantonese: 揼揼) is the name of this restaurant. The Chinese explanation is papaya, which is reminiscent of the production process of Thailand's famous spicy and sour papaya salad Somtam (Cantonese: mulberry), and Somtam is actually Originated from Northeastern Thai cuisine. I really like the menu of this restaurant.
