I visited first Time in September '2024 and thereafter keep on visiting the restaurant during my several trips and long stay at Krabi,THIS RESTAURENT IS REGISTERED AS "AO NANG CRAB HOUSE" and their one of the most favoured dish is to prepare and serve Thai-style Crab Curry (Poo Pad Pong Karee), a classic dish popular in Thailand and loved by locals and tourists alike. it was a delightful taste with authentic Thai flavors. Amazing experience with authentic Indian flavors in the heart of Krabi! The butter chicken was rich and creamy, perfectly prepared with balanced spices. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with beautiful Indian decor. The staff was attentive and made great recommendations. The place was absolutely clean and well maintained. Great value for money, especially considering the portion sizes and the Quality ,Taste and Aroma. A must visit while you are in Krabi. The BEST thing about this place is that they gave me change for 10 Baht (in 1 baht) when I asked for it. I had high hopes when visiting Chana Masala, as I was craving a proper Indian dining experience. Unfortunately, my visit turned into a culinary disaster that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. If you are expecting a good Indian dining experience or even passable as Indian dining ; just turn around and find someplace else. I will be brutally honest here; eating at this place was a chore rather than ANY sort of indian dining experience. The food was absolutely abysmal to the point of NO redemption whatsoever. The so-called "Indian dishes," were so bland that it felt like the chefs completely forgot the soul of Indian cuisine—spices and flavors. Me and my friends found ourselves reaching for the salt shaker desperately, trying to salvage the meals. But even then, it was a losing battle. Each bite was a disaster, and I genuinely struggled to finish even a small portion of the meal. The whole experience was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Chana Masala serves Indian food in name only, and I would strongly urge anyone looking for a genuine Indian meal to steer clear of this place. Save your taste buds and your money. Service is great and atmosphere is pleasant but the food was disappointing. We ordered BBQ grilled fish and sadly it was not fresh. The chicken gravy was salty and the jeera rice had stones in it. The wood fire oven pizza was ok and the pasta though salty was still edible. Overall, the service and atmosphere is good but food could be better. The staff were receptive to feedback. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
